I participated in a furniture design class with the goal to “design for delight”. Inspiration came from flowers and floor seating; traditional in my best-friend’s home country of India. The final product is four feet wide, weighs forty pounds, and consists of 1500 hand-stitched laminate samples. The textured surface required twenty-four hours of continuous rote labor to complete.
