A formal approach to the design of a second wearable began with conceptual sketches that reflected my visualization of anxiety objects. Based on viewer response, I selected a style and produced hundreds of hand-formed glass strands to create the prototypes. A thin black collar woven on a traditional floor-loom unites the glass pieces. The final design forces the wearer to maintain perfect poster or risk breaking the glass strands and causing injury; evoking a sense of anxiety in the wearer.
