Plant Form

Recycled and re-purposed scrap material from the metal shop finds new life in these simple plant objects. Stems were formed by joining short welding-rod scraps end-to-end. I made petals and leaves by cutting and grinding broken saw blades. Finally, the iron bouquet was united by sand-casting these elements in glass.
